Injuries at AJAX

AJAX loses at Getafe and at Heracles. Now many are panicking. The coach even says that after something like this at AJAX there is always panic....

There are far too many injuries. There are, of course, many reasons for that. I think.

But what I find incomprehensible is that the coach and even the board think it is OK for almost all players, or at least many, to go to 'their own' physiotherapist outside the club. Probably also their own doctor. That is a very bad thing. Why? Because no consultation takes place between the physios, the coach and the club physios. One knows nothing about the injuries. The club physio is the point of contact. He decides, with or without the club doctor or possibly the specialist, the treatment method. The player can then only play when the injury has healed and when he SELFFISHES he can. I strongly get the impression that everyone just does whatever at AJAX.

What does stand out is that injuries last far too long. Perhaps that could be sorted out. Is the therapy insufficient, is there too little treatment, is it the wrong form of therapy, are players afraid of getting injured again, does the absolute will to be able to play again quickly lack. In my time, the players always said: "How you do it.y Salo I don't care as long as I can play again soon". And with that attitude, things often worked out very quickly.

But the club physiotherapist is the first to be involved in therapy. Wish physio outside the club. A trainer can and should never accept that.
