Monthly eyewitness lecture at Herinneringscentrum Kamp Westerbork

‘See you tonight, and be good!’ Those are Mum's last words as she takes Salo to school in 1941. A few Hours later, she is arrested during a raid and taken with her husband to Westerbork, the transit camp to the final destination, Auschwitz. There, Salo's parents are murdered. The 5-year-old Salo goes into hiding with the help of his aunt and uncle, thus surviving the war.

Next Sunday, Salo Muller will be telling his story during the monthly eyewitness lecture at the Herinneringscentrum Kamp Westerbork. He has also put his wartime history down on paper; the book ‘Tot vanavond en lief zijn hoor!’ is available for purchase in our bookshop.

27 May 2018. Sunday from 14:00 to 15:00
